Titans Direct Purchasing Opportunities Information Session
Garney Construction is the General Contractor for the East Bank Regional Sanitary Sewer Lift Station in Nashville, TN. This project is a Progressive Design-Build, and Garney has partnered with SSR as the Design Engineer. The project owner is Tennessee Stadium, LLC (Titans) with the end user being Metro Water Services (MWS). View flyer.
Garney will be submitting pricing to the Owner for the second Construction Phase (”GMP2”) in mid-to- late January 2025. The GMP2 Design Documents, and associated bid packages, will be available to any interested vendors/subcontractors no later than December 13th, 2024. These bids will be due to Garney by mid-January 2025. GMP2 contracts will be awarded immediately following Owner approval of Garney’s GMP2 pricing, approximately early February 2025. (Exact dates will be discussed further during the Outreach Meeting and in the Bid Packages).
Garney is looking to receive bids based off the GMP2 Design Documents for the following scopes:
Division 02 – micropiles, supply aggregates
Division 03 – furnish resteel, tie resteel
Division 07 – dampproofing & waterproofing subcontractor
Division 11 – supply dry pit submersible pumps, VFDs, slide gates, odor control system
Division 15 – furnish electric actuated valves, manual process valves
Division 16 – electrical subcontractor, furnish & install generator

Division 08 – furnish & install metal doors and frames, furnish & install motorized overhead doors
Division 09 – epoxy coatings & equipment/pipe painting subcontractor
Division 10 – supply building signage
Division 14 – furnish & install bridge crane
Division 15 – furnish & install odor control duct, interior ductile iron pipe, stainless-steel pipe supports,
HVAC subcontractor, furnish & install louvers and fire protection
Division 17 – instrumentation and controls (includes magnetic flowmeter & system integration)
The project has a 25% DEI participation goal (13% MBE, 12% WBE).

Titans New Stadium Informational Session
This virtual session will include general descriptions and anticipated procurement timelines for the following scopes of work:
Construction management services for the realigned 2nd Street
Graphics, signage, art fabrication, and install services for owner-provided scope
Furniture & storage systems and warehousing & installation support services
Trucking and other subcontracting services for the demolition of the existing Nissan Stadium

Workforce Development Huddle II

The Titans will provide an update on the ONE Community program, and we will host a panel featuring employers and community partners. Additionally, TC2 graduates will share their experiences, along with insights from our community partners.



Construction Inclusion Week Lunch & Celebration
We kicked off Construction Inclusion Week 2024 with a lunch and celebration recognizing the 600 team members and trade partners currently on-site building the new Nissan Stadium.
With team members from all over the world and all types of backgrounds, TBA took this opportunity to highlight the importance of a welcoming and inclusive construction industry.

TC2 Cohort 4 Begins
TBA is excited to start the TC2 Cohort 4 program!
The Tennessee Titans and TBA are excited to offer a paid work experience training program to support the construction of the New Nissan stadium. The Titans Construction Training Camp (TC2) is a three-week program designed to equip our new builders with knowledge of workplace safety, construction math, and the ability to operate essential power and hand tools. Upon completion, builders will be prepared to start their careers in the construction industry.

TBA is proud to celebrate the TC2 Cohort 3 graduates! We will be hosting a lunch reception where certificates will be presented to honor the graduates. The graduates will also have the opportunity to share their experiences and provide feedback on the program.

The TBA team attended the third annual benefit dinner in support of ONE Community and the Tennessee Titans Foundation.

Nashville Chamber of Commerce Talent Solutions Forum
The Nashville Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Talent Solutions Forum: Bridging Education and Industry. This event will feature a presentation and expert panel discussion highlighting current education and employer partnerships in Middle Tennessee and how they work together to strengthen talent pipelines in high-growth industries.
The panel will include Beth Dufffield, Workorce Development Manager at TBA, Joy Rich, Manager of Workforce Development and Community Relationships at Nissan Group of North America, and Ebony McHaskell, Senior Director, Center for Programs in Allied Health at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Beth will provide an overview of the workforce development plan for the new Nissan Stadium, discuss the Titans Construction Training Camp (TC2) program, and share data points.
